Combining Web3 and LLM annotation services with traditional LLM-based annotation services technical differentiation
-
The major differentiation lies in our ability to leverage Web3 technology to incentivize human annotators using tokens. The advantages of Web3 include:
- Decentralized Storage and Processing: Achieving secure storage and sharing of data through decentralized means.
- Smart Contract Management: Ensuring transparent and fair task management and payment settlement through smart contracts.
Traditional centralized annotation service platforms typically do not involve direct management of annotators by the service itself. Instead, the service providers manage the annotators centrally. This approach is beneficial for effectively managing the quality and timeliness of annotations. However, with the advent of LLMs, annotation tasks no longer need to rely entirely on human effort. In many cases, LLMs can perform preliminary annotations, which are then enhanced by humans, significantly reducing the difficulty of human annotation.
Additionally, we can design verification mechanisms for annotations using LLMs and employ token incentives to ensure the quality of annotations performed by workers.
